   This filter has great versatility.  It can use carbon in addition to the famous Katadyn ceramic element.  Designed for hikers and travel use, it's compact lightweight design is backpack friendly.  And we're not through yet...  With the addition of a simple kit it can be turned into a counter-top model for use with your faucet!  As a counter-top model the Combi sits in a removable base and can be quickly disassembled to take with you at a moments notice.
